But in our experience this can take anywhere between 4 to 6 weeks to take effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-other-steps-can-i-take-if-i-continue-to-receive-marketing-material-from-capital-one-after-opting-out\">What other steps can I take if I continue to receive marketing material from Capital One after opting out?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You should take further steps if you\u2019re still receiving unwanted junk mail from Capital One 6 weeks after submitting your opt out request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If an envelope has a return address, write \u201cRejected.
