It\u2019s not possible to pay to look someone up just once. You need to buy a monthly membership.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are also cancellation problems. It also says it uses <a href=\"https:\/\/www.intelius.com\/help\/is-intelius-safe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">256-bit encryption<\/a> to protect your data (email address and password) and payment information.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"732\" height=\"224\" src=\"https:\/\/joindeleteme.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/inteliusisitsafe.png\" alt=\"Is Intelius safe? \" class=\"wp-image-17692\" srcset=\"https:\/\/joindeleteme.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/inteliusisitsafe.png 732w, https:\/\/joindeleteme.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/inteliusisitsafe-300x92.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 732px) 100vw, 732px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Privacy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.intelius.com\/privacy-policy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">privacy policy<\/a>, Intelius explains the type of data it collects, why it collects it, and with whom it shares it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Intelius collects the following information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>User information, <\/strong>e.g., name, email address, mailing address, credit card number, age, and zip code.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Traffic data, <\/strong>e.g., IP address, access times, browser type and language, ISP, pages you visit, content you view on the Intelius site, etc.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Third-party data, <\/strong>e.g., information from social media, credit reporting agencies, etc.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Inferred data, <\/strong>for example, based on your browsing\/purchases, Intelius may infer your interest in certain brands\/products.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It uses this information for various purposes, including operating and improving its site and services, communicating with you, personalizing experiences, delivering targeted ads, detecting fraud, complying with laws, enhancing AI technologies, and marketing to you.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Intelius may share your information with service providers, affiliates, advertising partners, law enforcement or legal entities, and during corporate changes (e.g., mergers).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It may use aggregated\/anonymized data for any purpose.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Intelius says it will retain your information as long as necessary for business or legal reasons. Retention criteria include legal requirements, business needs, and data sensitivity.
