Intuit (the producer of TurboTax) experienced a data breach.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company is now facing a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.classaction.org\/blog\/intuit-data-breach-lawsuit-filed-by-turbotax-user-over-2024-cyberattack\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">proposed class action lawsuit<\/a> law, financial institutions or partners (at your direction), and third-party marketing or tech vendors.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Intuit does not sell your personal information, but it shares data with partners for business purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Data is retained according to Intuit\u2019s internal retention policy, even after deletion requests, until the retention period ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a
