However, most of these sites don\u2019t recommend using Apex Focus Group for finding paid market research opportunities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sidehustlenation.com\/apex-focus-group-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Side Hustle Nation<\/a> notes that Apex Focus Group uses false scarcity tactics (i.e., \u201conly 3 positions left\u201d) and that estimated hourly rates differ based on which register link you click. It gives Apex Focus Group a rating of 2.0 out of 5.0 stars.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/themodestwallet.com\/is-apex-focus-group-legit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Modest Wallet<\/a> gives it a rating of 2.1 out of 5.0 stars.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lushdollar.com\/apex-focus-group-reviews\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lushdollar<\/a> gives Apex Focus Group a rating of 0 out of 10.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/moneypantry.com\/apex-focus-group-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Money Pantry<\/a> says: \u201cOverall, I would give it a miss.\u201d\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/houseofdebt.org\/apex-focus-group-reviews\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">House of Debt<\/a> review says it\u2019s unclear who is behind Apex Focus Group, but the company seems to have a US office (rented office space) and a Singapore office (which looks like a residential address).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>User reviews about Apex Focus Group are mixed. For months now Justin litters my inbox with promises of as much as $750, studies to attend in person and online and when I attempt to connect with any, they are no longer open studies or whatever and yet the following few days, I get the same message to hurry and apply.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"708\" height=\"274\" src=\"https:\/\/joindeleteme.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/apexfocusgroupredditspam.png\" alt=\"Reddit post about Apex Focus Group and email spam \" class=\"wp-image-17651\" srcset=\"https:\/\/joindeleteme.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/apexfocusgroupredditspam.png 708w, https:\/\/joindeleteme.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/apexfocusgroupredditspam-300x116.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 708px) 100vw, 708px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>People also say they keep getting emails from \u201cJustin Jones,\u201d with some saying they\u2019re getting about five emails from him per day.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Others say they\u2019ve unsubscribed but are still receiving emails.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"745\" height=\"321\" src=\"https:\/\/joindeleteme.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/apexfocusgroupreddit.png\" alt=\"Reddit thread about spam from Apex Focus Group even besides paid focus group emails, Apex Focus Group also sends out affiliate offers, such as car insurance quote services and scammy-looking debt evaluation services.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apex Focus Group is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbb.org\/us\/ga\/marietta\/profile\/market-research\/apex-focus-group-0443-28138655\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">not Better Business Bureau (BBB) accredited<\/a> but has an \u201cA-\u201d rating on the BBB site.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Security<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We couldn\u2019t find much information about Apex Focus Group security on its website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the platform does have a section on security in its <a href=\"https:\/\/apexfocusgroup.com\/privacy.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">privacy policy<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apex Focus Group says it scans its website regularly for vulnerabilities and performs regular malware scanning.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also says it keeps your personal information behind secured networks that are only accessible to a limited number of people with special rights.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sensitive and credit card information is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"199\" src=\"https:\/\/joindeleteme.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/apexfocusgroupsecurity-1024x199.png\" alt=\"Apex Focus Group &quot;How do we protect visitor information?&quot;\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Weirdly, it says it may store your credit card information for more than 30 days \u201cto expedite future orders, and to automate the billing process.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s no legitimate reason to store your credit card unless you&#8217;re purchasing something, which contradicts the site\u2019s stated purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, focus group participants don&#8217;t place orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The language in Apex Focus Group\u2019s privacy policy sounds like it was copied from an e-commerce or subscription business privacy template.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Privacy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To sign up for Apex Focus Group, you need to provide personal information like your full name, email, gender, birthday, and zip code.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You also need to answer questions like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What smartphone do you own?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do you have children?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What is your current education level?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Privacy policy&nbsp;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Apex Focus Group explains the kind of data it collects, why, and with whom it shares it in its <a href=\"https:\/\/apexfocusgroup.com\/privacy.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">privacy policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We found the privacy policy to be quite short and vague. For example, it says the platform collects the following information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cWhen ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address <\/em><strong><em>or other details<\/em><\/strong><em> to help you with your experience.\u201d&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"99\" src=\"https:\/\/joindeleteme.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/apexfocusgroupinfocollection-1024x99.png\" alt=\"Apex Focus Group &quot;What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our blog, website or app?&quot; \" class=\"wp-image-17654\" srcset=\"https:\/\/joindeleteme.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/apexfocusgroupinfocollection-1024x99.png 1024w, https:\/\/joindeleteme.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/apexfocusgroupinfocollection-300x29.png 300w, https:\/\/joindeleteme.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/apexfocusgroupinfocollection-768x74.png 768w, https:\/\/joindeleteme.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/apexfocusgroupinfocollection-1536x149.png 1536w, https:\/\/joindeleteme.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/apexfocusgroupinfocollection.png 1600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It would be interesting to know what those other details are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apex Focus Group also says the following information may be collected through cookies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>IP address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operating system type and version<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Device type<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Language preferences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Web browser type<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Email (in a hashed or encrypted form).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It says it uses the information it collects to send you periodic emails \u201cregarding your order or other products and services.\u201d Again, the language (\u201cregarding your order\u201d) is odd, considering we\u2019re talking about a focus group website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apex Group may share your data with third parties to provide the website and its features to you, at your request, to comply with legal obligations, with service providers and government agencies, and as otherwise permitted by law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apex Focus Group says it does not allow third-party behavioral tracking.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"so-should-you-use-apex-focus-group\">So, Should You Use Apex Focus Group?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>No, we do not recommend using Apex Focus Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are just too many red flags (e.g., numerous user complaints, a vague privacy policy, and complaints about email and phone spam).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even if you qualify for an opportunity, most people say the pay is extremely low and probably not worth your time.
