Emails and sensitive information remain only on the user\u2019s local computer.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Mailbird relies on the security measures provided by the email services you connect with (e.g., Gmail, Outlook). This means that your account\u2019s security is also linked to the strength of your password, the use of two-factor authentication (2FA), and the security practices of the email provider itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No data breaches have been associated with Mailbird at the time of writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"is-mailbird-private\">Is Mailbird Private?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Depends on your definition of \u201cprivate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mailbird doesn\u2019t store your emails or personal data on its own servers. Instead, it syncs emails directly from your email providers (like Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo), meaning that your emails are stored on those providers&#8217; servers rather than Mailbird\u2019s.
